By contrast with last week, with its endless whirl of parties and events, this week was a study in not doing anything much. Other than the Cowal Gathering yesterday, my biggest achievement was mowing the lawn. This probably wasn't the best of ideas, what with the grass being damp, and my having a cough to fight off, but it was also my last opportunity of 2008, so I wanted to get it done.
The only other thing of note was that on Monday I actually went into the office. There was something left in my car that I felt had to be returned promptly, so in I went. Conveniently, I arrived just as everyone was going to lunch, and thus was able to justify the trip as my being too lazy to cook.
